Prayer of Confession

Gracious God, we confess our slowness to embrace the new life you offer. You offer springtime to our souls, but we hold onto our despair and self-doubt. We forget we have been baptized into the death and the resurrection of Jesus. Help us to believe in what we cannot yet see. Help
us to follow wherever Jesus leads us. In the name of our Savior we pray.
Amen.

Declaration of Forgiveness

Because Jesus has been raised up, God restores our faith, our capacity to love,
and our courage to care for the world God made.

Through Christ we are forgiven, and we can forgive.

God loves us and breathes the Holy Spirit on us even today.
